Mobile Ultrasound Services provides complete ultrasound and echocardiography services for many Primary Care Physicians and Primary Care Clinics in central, west, and southwest Florida. We are a Medicare provider and hold contracts with most private health insurance companies. Mobile Ultrasound Services can provide regularly scheduled imaging services on a weekly, bi-weekly or monthly basis and can provide STAT services to most offices, usually within two hours. As always, MUS technologists will leave preliminary patient reports with the practice upon completing the imaging schedule, and full radiological reads will typically be available the next business day following the date of the studies. In the case of ultrasound studies that result in a potentially dangerous situation, like the discovery of an occlusion during a venous procedure to determine a DVT, for example, the technologist will immediately alert the physician and staff to the situation, providing the opportunity for immediate intervention.

Depending on the primary care physician’s business plan, it may be possible to structure an imaging program to provide a revenue opportunity for the medical practice.
